Simplifying Holiday Travel
I’ve always been a bit obsessive, oh fine, a lot obsessive. I’ve always tried to complete each task I am faced with as perfectly and efficiently as possible. Although I’ve never achieved perfection, and sometimes just fail miserably, I have learned a lot. One particular object of my obsession has been travel.
|
If you have money in this economy it is the absolute best time to travel,
as deals abound. If you don’t have money you probably still won’t get out
of going home for the holidays. No matter how much your parents lost in
their retirement accounts they will manage to pull money out from under
the mattress if they must just so you will fly home for the holidays.

"there isn't a bag that can relieve airport or family tension, but there are bags that will get you to your destination in style"
|
I’ve used many different suit cases; from stylish to practical I’ve tried them all. Somewhere deep down I thought that with the right suit case I wouldn’t mind the long TSA lines, or spending the weekend with annoying family members. Although I have come to the realization that there really isn’t a suit case that can relieve airport or family tension, there are bags that will ensure you arrive at your destination with everything you need to travel not only in style, but with minimal frustration.

There are three basic travel styles:
- Ivana Travel In Style
- Pamela Jones (P.J.)
- Jane Austere
Ivana, values style over all else. She travels as a woman from the 1950's, high heels, a great outfit, and perfect make-up and hair. She doesn't care if she must remove 10 pounds of jewelry to get through security. She doesn't break a sweat as she lugs 10 trunks full of clothing. She will arrive at her destination with absolutely everything she needs.
|
If you are an Ivana, you must try the Jane Marvel Pouch set to organize inside your bags.
From your carry-on, to your checked bags, you can customize the pouch labels to contain cosmetics, lingerie, swim wear, jewelry, or even travel documents.
No more searching through your bag, keep up your image by simply reaching in and pulling out the appropriate pouch.
|
|
Pamela Jones (we like to call her P.J.), shows up at the airport in pajamas and slippers. I have observed such people with absolute jealousy. Pamela can probably sleep on a plane without first having 10 cocktails. Although I have never seen the inside of Pamela’s bag I can only imagine the contents. Besides Ambien and Xanax, she probably carries a cozy blanket and blow up pillow. For Pamela the carry-on bag is extremely important.
|
I recommend the Jane Marvel Overhead Bag.
It can be carried on the shoulder or by hand, versatile enough
for even the most comfort conscious traveler. This bag will fit
under the seat in front of you or easily into the overhead bin.

Jane Austere is somewhere in between. This is my kind of travel. I give equal preference
to comfort and style. I chose a bag befitting the nature of my travel. For a trip to New York,
only a proper suitcase will do, there are far too many wardrobe changes for anything else.
For a trip to somewhere like Palm Springs I wouldn’t consider using any other bag but the

Jane Marvel Duffel Weekender Bag.
I love packing in this bag. I roll up my clothes to prevent
wrinkling and just throw them right in. I use Jane Marvel
pouches to sort lingerie, socks, and cosmetics. It is the
perfect size for a weekend or short trip and I get stopped
often because it looks so stylish.
|
|
Use the Jane Marvel Tote for your carry-on and you are ready to go.

I can’t promise your trip will be perfect, but I can tell you that you will at least appear to be both stylish and efficient. Bon Voyage!
